Mr. Morris Taylor

Morris N. Taylor was appointed to the Brunswick County, Virginia Industrial Development Authority (IDA) in August 2011 to represent the Red Oak District.

Morris N. Taylor is a lifelong resident of Brunswick County. He currently resides in Rawlings, VA. Currently, he serves as Vice Chair of the board. Morris is also an educator and currently is an Assistant Principal in the Sussex County School System. He is married to his beautiful wife, Dr. Tonia M. Taylor and has two children named Tamora and Morris, Jr. While on the board, Morris was part of the team that helped to bring the Dominion Energy Plant to Brunswick County. He has also been part of several other accomplishments achieved by the IDA. He continues to work for the people of Brunswick County as the IDA Board seeks to grow the number of business opportunities for the future of all its citizens.
